Your Neptune Radio Station and Internet Connectivity

by | Sep 29, 2021 | Neptune Now | 0 comments

One of the great features of your Neptune Radio station is that you do not need to be connected to the internet during playback. However, it IS very important to connect your station to the internet every 2-3 days.

Why? We are not only continuously updating our music library, but also making updates to the Neptune Media Player on a regular basis. In order to ensure you are operating on the latest version of the player as well as to ensure your music mix is fresh and up-to-date, you need to connect to the internet on a regular basis.

After 72 hours of no internet connection, you will see a warning pop-up on your player that you need to connect to the internet. After 96 hours of no connectivity, your player will stop working until an internet connection has been established.

So if you go for an extended period of not using your player and/or not connecting to the internet (holiday breaks/off season), just be sure to connect to the internet BEFORE you need to start using your player again to avoid any last-minute issues.
