Save Time By Using The Music Library Search Feature

With Fall comes lots of new music requests, and the fastest way to add music to your GameTime station is to use the Music Library search function.

Click on the Music Selection button and then the “Add or Change Music Selection” at the top of the page in the Choose Your Music Mix box.

Scroll down until you see the Music Library section and look for the dark blue Search by Artist and Search by Title bar.

There you can search by artist or title.  You can even type in the first few letters in one of those fields and get a list from which you can choose a song.  You will quickly see whether it’s in our library or on the “Not Approved” list.  If it’s in our library, you can add it to your station directly from there by clicking the “+Add This Song” button. It’s simple and fast.

If the song you are looking for is on the “Not Approved” list, please do not turn in a request asking for the “clean” version of the song.  Any song we screen we check to see if a “clean” version which meets our criteria is available. If it’s on the “Not Approved” list we’ve already tried that and couldn’t find a way to make the song fit into the parameters of our music policy.  Most “clean” versions just bleep out or mask profanity, but often leave in other issues like alcohol and drug references.

If the song you are looking for does not show up in our library, you can scroll down to the yellow box and request it.  There it will go through our normal review process. This typically takes a few business days, unless there are an unusually large number of requests.
