With the Fall sports season in full swing, it’s a good time for a “refresher” on how to make sure the music you are selecting is programmed for the right events at the right times.
When you select music genres and/or specific songs for individual sports in Voyager using the Music Selection feature, this lets us know what the appropriate mix of music should be for those sporting events. Think of it as your general “football music mix”, “volleyball music mix”, “basketball music mix”, etc.
However, this does NOT create an actual playlist. A playlist for Radio Mode is only created when one of these two things happen:
- You add events directly from your player. (Watch the Tutorial)
- You submit your schedules to us and we then program your GameTime station to run for a particular sport at a specified date and time.
In regards to On Demand, adding songs to a Custom Library makes it easier to access these songs on a frequent basis, but does NOT create a playlist. An On Demand Playlist is only created when you build an On Demand Playlist in the player. (Watch the Tutorial)
